How long a power station runs a fridge
A fridge is the load that decides the size. Watt-hours are the tank. Keep the door shut and you get more hours than the label math suggests.
The simple math
A typical full-size fridge uses about 1–2 kWh in a day. Mini-fridges sit lower. The compressor is not on the whole time, so a 150 W nameplate is not 150 W × 24 hours. After inverter loss, treat usable energy as a bit under the station’s watt-hour rating.
Starting watts matter once: the compressor kick can be several times running watts. The 800 W RIVER 2 Pro is a poor match for many full-size fridges. The 1,500–2,400 W units in this shop are the ones built to start that load.
By tank size
Under 512 Wh. Phones and a router. The Elite 10 (128 Wh, 200 W), RIVER 2, Explorer 300 Plus, and Elite 30 V2 are not fridge units.
768 Wh. Skip a full-size fridge. Use the RIVER 2 Pro or the BLUETTI AC70 for phones, a router, and lights. The AC70 is the same 768 Wh with 1,000 W and weighs 22.5 lb.
~1 kWh. Several hours of fridge, not a full night plus everything else. Jackery 1000 v2 if you want it light. DELTA 3 Plus for the EcoFlow at 1,800 W. Anker C1000 for tools at 1,800 W. Explorer 1000 Plus for 1,264 Wh and 2,000 W. The AC180 is 1,152 Wh at 1,800 W.
~2 kWh. Overnight fridge is the point. Jackery 2000 v2 at 40 lb, DELTA 2 Max if you want wheels and expansion, or BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 at 2,600 W and 53.4 lb.
Stretch the hours
Pre-cool the box before the outage if you have warning. Leave the door closed. Skip the freezer-to-fridge trick unless you know the food safety rules. Do not run a microwave off the same station if the fridge is the job.
